Since graduating from Tufts University (Medford, MA) with honors in 1999, Julie Fulton has worked extensively in college admissions and higher education preparation.  Following graduation, she served as an admissions officer for the highly selective undergraduate admissions office at Tufts, reading over 1000 applications herself and selecting about a third of the class as part of a 3-person-regional committee.  After moving to southern California in 2001, Julie worked for two seasons as a specialized college applications reader for Occidental College (Eagle Rock, CA).  She has reviewed, evaluated and made admissions recommendations on hundreds of applications to Occidental.  She also assisted Occidental in its student yield activities, designing programs to encourage newly accepted students to matriculate.

Her vast background in education includes posts as a teaching assistant in political science at Tufts and as a research associate for the Harvard Business School.  Julie has professionally tutored both with a renowned company and independently.  She has prepared students for a wide array of standardized tests, including the ISEE, SAT I/IIs and AP exams.  She has tutored over 50 students with all variety of educational background and skill level.

Julie received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University in 1999.  She is completing the UCLA Certificate program for College Counseling this year.
